HUCAL Submit an application to the on-campus program to Inter-State Council of Higher Education. This may include providing transcripts, letters of recommendation, and other required documentation.Credit Evaluation:
Once accepted, Inter-State Council will evaluate the credits earned through your distance learning program by HUCAL to on campus required credits. This evaluation will determine which credits can be transferred and applied towards your on-campus program requirements.Provide detailed syllabi, course descriptions, and any other relevant materials from your distance learning courses to facilitate the credit evaluation process.
Transfer Credit Policy:
Review the transfer credit policy of the on-campus institution by Inter-State Council. Policies vary and may include: Minimum Grade Requirements: Only credits earned with a certain minimum grade (e.g., C or higher) may be eligible for transfer. Credit Limits: There may be a limit on the number of credits that can be transferred.Residency Requirements: Some institutions require that a certain number of credits be completed on-campus to earn a degree from that institution.
Credit Transfer Approval:
Inter-State Council will allow the on-campus institution's registrar or admissions office will provide a transfer credit evaluation report, detailing which credits are accepted and how they apply to your degree requirements.Advising and Planning:
Speak with your academic advisor to develop a plan for completing your remaining degree requirements. The advisor can help integrate your transferred credits into your academic plan and ensure you meet all graduation requirements.Enrollment and Orientation:
Complete any necessary enrollment steps, including registration for classes, orientation sessions, and obtaining student identification.Maintaining Status (for International Students):
